The Town of Olanta Parks & Recreation Department hosts several youth football leagues within the Town of Olanta. The league is composed of four age groups/divisions ranging from ages 5 to 12 in football and 5 to14 in cheerleading. The age groups/divisions areas are as follows: 6 to 8 year olds, 9 to10 year olds, and 11 to 12 year olds. The last day to register is the first day of September.
Registration for the football league begins on the first day of August each year. The registration fee is $40. Each registrant will participate in an evaluation to determine placement on a team. Games begin in September and last until late October, followed by post season tournaments. Teams typically play one game per week and practice an additional two or three days per week. Games are played at the Olanta ballpark.
