The Town of Olanta has 2 open council seats. In order to run for council, you must file in person at the Town of Olanta Town Hall by August 15, 2023. The cost to file is $50.00. Once you have filed, you must then complete your filing with the South Carolina Ethics Commission at the website: Home | SC Ethics Filing. The election for the council seats will be held on November 7, 2023, at the Dr. John M. Thomason Public Library. You must live within the corporate limits of the Town of Olanta in order to run for a seat on the Olanta Town Council.
